The saddest part of their gruesome death scene is after Tate (Evan Peters) throws the bodies into the basement and Chad reaches out for Patrick's (Teddy Sears) hand. Violet tells her dad she's dead. Ben Harmon (Dylan Mc. Dermott) is pretty much completely clueless the entire season. ![]() He honestly doesn't even know his house is at all haunted until the end of the second to last episode. He tries to be a good father and husband, but he never pays attention to everything that goes on around him. This, however, does not diminish the pain in his eyes when Violet tells him she's dead.

Constance tells Billie she has one last thing to say to Addie and tells her how proud she was of her and how beautiful Constance thinks she is. Addie, though Billie, tells her mother that she should've said that when she was alive. As she's lying on the table, nearly unconscious, Ben is talking to Vivien, telling her to hold on, but then she sees Violet, who tells her to let go so they can be together and Vivien finally lets go. School Massacre/Tate's death. There is a lot of controversy surrounding Tate's (Evan Peters) high school shooting massacre in that people don't think it should have been praised the way it was and seemed to hit too close to home.
